Middle School
Chaos is Riv's ministry for seventh and eighth grade students, and the umbrella for most middle school life groups. It's a place where middle school students can realize that it's OK to be a Christian in our culture. They can hang out with other Christ-followers, worshiping with them, learning about God, and sharing it all with their friends who may not know Christ yet. Our goal is to provide a place where they can encounter God in a non-judgmental atmosphere.
During the school year, most Chaos Life Groups meet on Wednesdays at Riv's Holt Venue from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Chaos, will also be offering a class at the 9:30ish am Sunday service in the MOD at the Holt Venue. However, there are other Life Groups forming that will meet on other nights, so if Wednesdays don't work for you, we have other opportunities.

Funtyme!

On Tuesday, July 27th, Chaos will be going to the Okemos Funtyme (3384 James Phillips Drive, Okemos, MI) for mini-golf, bowling, games, food and fun! The cost will be $10 per student, and the activities will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Parents can choose to drive their students directly to Funtyme, or have Chaos leaders drive them from Riverview. Leaders will be leaving Riverview at 5:45 PM and will have students back by 8:15 PM. There's still time! We have extended the date to turn in money for the retreat! It's due by April 7th. If you have any questions please e-mail chaos@rivchurch.com. There will be an info packet being sent home THIS SUNDAY for all of you who are going and who are interested in going. It will also be available online by next week.

Meet at Riverview at 10:30am on Saturday, December 5.

Chaos is Going to a Corn Maze

Chaos is going to Ripley's Haunted Acres on Friday October 23rd. YAY! We'll leave from Riverview at 6:15 pm and be back around 10:00 pm. Bring $10 for the cost of the corn maze. If you're not a fan of corn mazes that happen to be haunted, there will be a corn maze that happens to not be haunted! YAY!
