RivU exists to train people to become mission-minded leaders through education in Bible, theology, character, and ministry. Our focus is towards both future leaders and church-planters as well as the entire Riv church body. Classes range from a heavy Bible and theology focus to those that deal with a specific practical issue.

The Woman Class

Who am I as a woman of God? The purpose of this class is to equip women with Biblical knowledge about what it means to be a woman who follows Christ. This class is for women of all ages, in all stages of life, who are seeking to better understand and apply what Scripture has to say about being a woman of God. The Parenting Class - October 13, 20, and 27

The Parenting Class explores the many issues that confront parents today and discusses how to raise kids in a way that provides a healthy balance of love, discipline, experiences, and training in what it means to love God and serve Him with their lives. The Parenting Class is taught my Riv pastor Paul DenHerder, a parent of four who brings decades of experience and wisdom.

The Parenting Class will take place on October 13, 20, and 27 during the 7:00ish pm service in Room 201. Childcare will be provided through RivKids.
