MSU Venue

We’re glad you’re here.

Riv's MSU Venue meets in East Lansing, Michigan, on the campus of Michigan State University (in the Erickson KIVA to be exact), so you'll probably notice a lot of college students. Teachings are on video about half the time and live the other half, and childcare is not provided.

Wondering what we're like as a church? We are doctrinally conservative, but culturally fluid. Our music is loud, and our teachings are engaging. Besides the five pastors (instead of a senior pastor), we have several guest teachers, so teachings can be pretty varied depending on who you happen to see on stage. We serve gourmet coffee, which we welcome you to drink during the service. Some people think we are a really casual church (you'll see lot's of people in jeans and T-shirts), and they're probably right.
