RivBuddies is a ministry that Riverview offers for special needs children who are Pre-K age through sixth grade. We provide additional support as needed for them during the weekend services at Riv.

RivBuddies New Volunteer Training - June 6

RivBuddies ministers to families with special needs children by providing one-on-one adult support for a child partcipating in RivKids during the weekend services. If you have a heart for working with special needs kids, we would love to have you on our team. To become a RivBuddies volunteer, you must complete a RivKids volunteer application and training.
We are running a RivBuddies New Volunteer Training on Sunday, June 6 at 11:30 in room 201. Please email Amanda, rivbuddies@rivchurch.com, for more information or if you are planning on attending.
RivBuddies New Volunteer Training - Sunday, April 25

RivBuddies is in need of new volunteers to be one-on-one 'buddies' to children with special needs attending Riverview during the weekend services. We are especially in need of buddies during the summer months.
We will be running a training for new volunteer RivBuddies on Sunday, April 25 from 11:30am to 1:00pm in room 201. If you are interested, please contact Laura Granger at RivBuddies@rivchurch.com.
RivBuddies Parent's Night Out - Friday, January 15

RivBuddies will be holding a Parent's Night Out Friday, January 15 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Riverview Church in rooms 103 and 104 (in front of the chapel). This is a time that parent's of our special needs kids can drop off all their children with us so they can have an evening to themselves. We have some games, activities, movies and a light snack for their children while they are with us. Jackie Jason coordinates this event and RivBuddies volunteers staff it. If you are interested helping to take care of and play with these kids on a Friday evening, please contact Jackie at mauly@aol.com.
