Welcome Team

The Welcome Team at Riverview Church is a really important ministry, and one that always needs more volunteers! They are the face of the church for people checking out Riv for the first time.

There are many different roles that Welcome Team Volunteers fill during our weekend services. This includes greeting people at the doors, making LOTS of coffee, providing security, handing out newsletters, and staffing RivWarehouse in the lobby (where people can come with all sorts of questions and to get all sorts of resources).

The Welcome Team is a great place to start if you're not sure where you should serve, especially if you can smile or offer a good handshake. It's even a great way to get connected with other Riv goers and meet new folks. The Riv Welcome Team would love to have you serve with us.

Security Volunteers Needed

The Riv Security Team is looking for a few, good men and women to join us. Feel like you aren’t qualified? Here’s the entrance test:

• Are you a caring, friendly person?
• Are you an alert, focused person?
• Do you have a servant’s heart?

Welcome Team Training

Looking for a place to serve during weekend services? Not quite sure where to start? Try the Welcome Team! There is a training on Wednesday, October 12 from 7:00-9:00 pm in Room 203/204 at Riv's Holt Venue for anyone interested in joining the team and for current team members.
