Lansing Area Aids Network
Providing free critical services, case management, emotional and social support for individuals living with HIV in central Michigan.
Description:
The Lansing Area AIDS Network (LAAN) provides free critical services, case management, emotional and social support for individuals living with HIV in central Michigan. They also offer community education, prevention programs, and harm reduction services to combat the spread of HIV while fostering inclusivity and creating a safe space for all.
How Riv is Involved:
Riverview Church partners with LAAN through our annual Thanksgiving meal drive. For over a decade, we have worked together to provide hundreds of Thanksgiving meals each year to families in need. In 2024, we were able to distribute over 160 meals, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to supporting the local community and serving alongside LAAN.
Call to action:
Join us in supporting Lansing Area AIDS Network (LAAN) by donating or volunteering for our annual Thanksgiving meal drive! Your contributions help provide meals for families in need. Additionally, there are year-round volunteer opportunities to assist with LAAN’s pantry and other initiatives. Get involved today and make a lasting impact in our community.
