Reach the Forgotten

Reach the Forgotten Jail Ministry provides Christ-centered hope and healing to incarcerated individuals through biblically-based, chaplain-led, and volunteer-supported jail ministries. Operating in 35 Michigan county jails, they offer Bible classes, worship services, recovery resources, and re-entry support to transform lives, break the cycle of incarceration, and restore families and communities.

How Riv is involved:
Riverview Church partners with Reach the Forgotten Jail Ministry by providing volunteers to assist in various ministry efforts within Michigan’s county jails. Our congregation supports the ministry through volunteer-led Bible studies, worship services, and recovery programs, offering hope and healing to incarcerated individuals. By engaging in these initiatives, we help share the message of Jesus Christ, contributing to the transformation and re-entry support of those impacted by incarceration.

How you can get involved:

Get involved with Reach the Forgotten and make a lasting impact on the lives of incarcerated individuals. Volunteer with us to support their efforts in sharing the love and hope of Christ within the jail system. Whether through letter writing, prayer, or helping with initiatives, your involvement helps bring comfort, encouragement, and practical support to those who need it most. Let’s work together to reach the forgotten and show them they are not alone.
