Riv exists to proclaim the liberating power of the Gospel as we grow, serve, and go.
We believe that no matter your background, your major, your race, or whatever – there is freedom in the Gospel, and that doesn’t discriminate. We can anchor our hope in this true message of Jesus.
Find us on Sundays
Each week, we get together for weekend services at the MSU Union for a message, worship through music, and an opportunity to connect with other students. Come through each Sunday morning at 11:30ish. We’ll have coffee to help get your day going!

Life is meant to be lived in community. Life Groups provide the opportunity to meet new people, study the Word, and talk about life. We have groups throughout MSU’s campus and in the East Lansing area that typically meet every, or every other week. If you’re interested in checking them out, come chat with us at the Info Center at a weekend service, or you can sign up by clicking the button below.
Follow us for info on upcoming events! If you have any questions, feel free to email us at [email protected].
Monday mornings during the school year we hand out #thatfreecoffee on MSU’s campus. We set up at the Farm Lane crosswalk by the Red Cedar River at 9ish, and hand out coffee til it’s gone. If you see us, come say hey and grab some of that free coffee.
