What do you do here at Riv?
I’m the Multi-Gen Director.
What does it look like to be on staff at Riv?
I spend a lot of my time with college students and young adults (18-29 year olds) at Riverview’s MSU Venue. I also practically live out of coffee shops in East Lansing/Lansing!
What are some dreams you have within your role?
That college-aged students would be prepared to live out faithful, normal Christian lives not only during their college years, but especially afterwards.
How do you spend your free time?
You can usually find me either breaking (aka breakdancing), playing Starcraft 2, going on dates with my wife, or reading a book (very slowly).
Top three shows?
Naruto, Samurai Champloo, and Dragon Ball Z.
Listening to any good podcasts?
Live No Lies Podcast, Crime Junkies, and Axios News.
What’s your favorite spot in Lansing?
Strange Matter coffee shop. The baristas are great and you can see a wide range of different people from different walks of life! It represents Lansing quite well.
All limitations aside, what job would you love to have in an alternate reality?
I would be a head chef at a small, upscale-ish, Korean restaurant.
Anything you’re involved in that you’re excited about and want to share with the Riv fam?
I’m super excited with All of the Above Hip-Hop Academy’s park jams that we are starting to roll out. Along with building bridges between AOTA and the MSU Breaking Club. I am also very excited about building bridges between Riverview’s MSU Venue and other campus ministries.
