Couple To Couple
Riverview's Couple to Couple ministry initiates mentoring relationships between couples with spiritually-centered and healthy marriages (most days) and couples who are struggling.
We feel that couples who have stood the test of time in their own marriage have a lot to offer others who are experiencing marital difficulties. Typically couples in crisis have few places to turn. We hope to offer support by bringing together two couples. One couple will serve by opening up their home, their schedule, and their own personal and spiritual lives to another couple who will commit to being open, working through the tough stuff, and having a willingness to change and grow for the betterment of their marriage, honoring God in the process.
Marriage mentors are not pastors, counselors, or therapists. They are just couples who have been married for some time and would describe their marriage as spiritually centered and healthy (most days).
If you are interested in serving as a mentor couple with Couple to Couple, please email Rich.Schalter@Rivchurch.com or Kathy.Schalter@Rivchurch.com, or click here to download an application. Once you complete the application, please return it to the Riverview Church office.
