24 Hours of Prayer
As part of our One More series, we want to cover our church, our city, and our world in prayer. Each month, we are setting aside 24 hours to pray continuously. We’ll start at 10 a.m. on the first Saturday and pray until 10 a.m. Sunday.
Here’s how it works:
Sign Up for a Prayer Slot
Everyone is invited to take part by signing up for a 10-minute slot (you can take more than one). The goal is to keep prayer going non-stop for the full 24 hours. Once you have signed up, you will be given a prayer request for that ten-minute slot (there’s a list below). Here are the dates we’ll be holding our 24 hours of prayer:
- June 6/7
- July 4/5
- August 1/2
Pray!
From 10 a.m. on Saturday through 10 a.m. on Sunday, you’ll pray wherever you are (at home, at work, or on the go), joining the rest of Riv in a chain of prayer that doesn’t stop. You can gather with some folks if you want to or pray on your own.
Pre-Service Prayer Times
If your slot falls during one of these windows, you can come to one of our venues to pray together with others:
- Saturday, 6–7 p.m. (Holt Venue)
- Sunday, 9–10 a.m. (All Venues)
During these times, we’ll be praying over the seats, parking lots, classrooms, and every space God uses to bring people to Jesus at Riv.
This is a chance for us to lean in as a church family, seeking God for one more person, one more story of grace, one more life transformed by Jesus.
