About this event
This July, we will be traveling to Big Creek Missions in Leslie County, Kentucky for a mission trip, serving in Construction, Children's Ministry, or Community Service Projects. Big Creek Missions has been serving the local community since 2004, and we are excited to be part of God's ongoing work here. We'll be staying at the Big Creek Mission Campus: sleeping in dorm-style housing, eating meals in their cafeteria, and serving in projects that the organization has set up for us. In the evenings, we'll have time for recreation and fun activities, worship, Bible study, and time to share how God has been at work throughout the trip. We will have background-checked and screened leaders from the church chaperoning and transporting our students for the week, in both personal and rented vehicles.
This trip does include 5 full days of service, so participants should be prepared to work hard - but we will have lots of fun together!
This trip is for high school students from incoming 9th graders to outgoing 12th graders. Registration will close March 27, so if you're interested, let us know by filling out the registration form, and we'll be in touch about the next steps. The total cost for the trip is $465, and in order to reserve your spot on the trip, a deposit of $100 is required.
If you are interested but have questions, please contact Student Ministries at [email protected]. If the cost of the trip is prohibitive, please contact Greg Stevens at [email protected] to talk about scholarship opportunities for the week.
We would love to have you on this trip!
