The church is a messy place. With people coming from different backgrounds, we can rub people the wrong way at times. If this is the case with church, then why bother with it? Brad Kidder gives his case that we should bother with the local church because of these three reasons: 1) the church is the family of God, 2) the church is on the mission of God, 3) the church is for the glory of God.
