Greg Stevens

Westside Venue Student Ministries Leader

[email protected]

Greg Stevens leads the Middle School and High School Ministries at Riverview’s Westside Venue, where he oversees outreach and discipleship for 6th–12th grade students across the Westside of Lansing. His passion is helping students see what it looks like to follow Jesus for a lifetime—something he first glimpsed as a high schooler in Grand Ledge through the influence of faithful youth leaders.

Greg grew up in a Christian home and has been part of a church community for as long as he can remember. He first got connected to Riv in 2018 as a freshman at Michigan State, where he began attending the MSU Venue at the Union. In addition to his role at Riv, Greg is a high school English teacher and a Track and Cross Country coach at Grand Ledge High School. Whether he’s talking about faith, books, or race strategy, Greg loves engaging with others and constantly learning more about ministry and coaching.

In his free time, you’ll find him reading theology, fiction, or history, hiking the trails around Fitzgerald Park and The Ledges, or watching a great movie (especially The Dark Knight or an old episode of Seinfeld). He’s a devoted Grand Ledge and MSU sports fan, and his favorite verse—Hebrews 11:1—reminds him that God is always at work, even when we can’t see the full picture.
