Jordan Allen

Pastor | MSU Venue Director

Jordan Allen serves as a Pastor, and as the MSU Venue Director, where he leads efforts to reach college students at Michigan State University and Lansing Community College with the message of the gospel. His role centers on building a community on campus, often spending Sunday mornings surrounded by students and helping create a space where faith feels personal and lived out.

Though he grew up in church, his understanding of God deepened over time—moving from something distant to something real and experienced, especially during his college years through campus ministry. That shift continues to shape both his calling and his investment in students navigating similar questions.

Outside of his work, Allen’s life reflects a steady mix of relationships, activity, and local rhythms. He and his wife spend time walking through downtown East Lansing, often with their two Australian Shepherds, and he enjoys coaching track, discovering local food spots like Olympic Broil, Choupli, and Horrocks, and keeping up with his favorite teams.

As the oldest of twelve siblings—five biological brothers and seven adopted sisters—he brings a natural sense of family into how he sees others, often approaching people as if they’re already part of it. His perspective is grounded in passages like Book of Psalms 27:13, a reminder that even in uncertainty, God’s goodness is not distant but present and worth trusting in everyday life.
