Julie Wright helps keep Riverview Church running smoothly by ensuring our spaces are clean, safe, and accessible for everyone who walks through our doors. She first connected to Riv years ago through her husband, who worked on both the REO and Holt venues during major construction projects, and through his longtime connection with Steve Somerlott.

Julie came to know Jesus by reading her Bible, and her faith is anchored in the promise of Isaiah 41:10—a reminder that no matter the challenge, she is safe in God’s hands.

When she’s not at Riv, you’ll likely find Julie enjoying time with her granddaughter and family, tending to her garden, tackling DIY home improvement projects, or caring for her chickens and bees. Her favorite place in Lansing is a hidden gem: a peaceful wooded bike park behind her home with quiet trails that wind through the trees and along the Grand River—a spot where she finds rest and stillness.
