Pam Stacy helps keep the Holt Venue in great shape by making sure the building is clean, maintained, and ready to welcome people each week. She first connected to Riv four years ago through the Grief Group, where she found both community and comfort.
Pam describes her faith journey as an ongoing walk—growing closer to Jesus every day, even as she continues to navigate a world marked by brokenness. Her favorite verse, Proverbs 21:31, reminds her where true strength comes from: “The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.”
In her free time, you’ll likely find Pam with a thriller mystery novel in hand, floating down the river in her kayak, or walking with her dog, Sir Windsor (Sir, for short). One of her favorite places in Lansing is the Sparrow parking structure on Michigan Avenue—especially at sunrise or sunset, when the city feels quiet and beautiful from above.
A few of Pam’s recommended reads include The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh, anything by JoJo Moyes, and It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way by Lysa TerKeurst. She’s also a fan of the AfterWords podcast.
