Anchored in Christ

We all doubt. Whether that is doubting our family, friends, people you just met, and even God Himself. There are times in our lives that make us pause and think through whether or not we can actually trust and believe in the things of God and what He says in His Word. We may even feel guilty about it at times. One comforting thing that Scripture tells us is that many people who encountered Jesus and even believed in Him, doubted as well. With that, it doesn’t seem that doubting is exclusive to us, but in reality it’s a common thing that occurred. However, we can overcome our doubt as believers in Christ by knowing that we are anchored in our faith to not a wishy-washy idea or person, but the firm foundation of Jesus and His Gospel.
