Imitating The Maturity Of The Saints Of Old

This past weekend at all our Riv Venues the teaching was from Philippians 3:12-21, focusing on Paul’s challenge for us to imitate the spiritual maturity of faithful Christians in order to point others toward Jesus. For certain we are wise to find living, breathing examples to watch and emulate as they walk and think and try to be like Jesus. In addition, the Christian faith is rich with men and women who have gone before us, having endured for Jesus and been used by God to influence many toward a heavenly future. Below is a list of biographies that we as Pastors have found encouraging and challenging because of the examples of spiritual maturity that lie within.
