Jesus Is Lord

One of the wildest claims anyone can make, is to say that they are God. The claim is other-worldly because God is other-worldly. When Jesus Christ claimed to be God, some believed, some rejected, and some were offended, but no one ignored. Paraphrasing C.S. Lewis, who famously said Jesus claiming to be God either posed Christ to be a liar, lunatic, or Lord. If Christ was lying about being God, He would either be a liar or lunatic. However, if He were telling the truth, then Christ would be Lord, which has the greatest implications not for Him, but for us. Christ being Lord of all, is the greatest news we can have, because in Him and in that truth, there is life to be found.
