Look To The Provider, Not The Provisions

One misconception and temptation people have with God is to think of Him and treat Him like an ATM machine or a genie. It’s where we view God as a deity who has to answer, “yes”, to our every call. In the book of John, Jesus makes a claim where He states that He is, “the Bread of Life”, AKA He is the One who provides sustenance in our lives. But don’t miss this about that claim – we shouldn’t just be fixated on the life that Jesus gives, but that we should glorify and worship Jesus Himself because He gives us life in the first place.
