St. Luke’s Lutheran Church hosts a Community Kitchen every Saturday, offering free, balanced meals to anyone in need. Served indoors in their welcoming cafeteria, this weekly outreach goes beyond providing food by fostering connections and reflecting the love of Jesus to everyone who walks through the doors.

How Riv is Involved:
Riverview Church partners with St. Luke’s Lutheran Church by providing a group of dedicated volunteers throughout the year to assist with their weekend meal program. These volunteers help serve hot, nutritious meals to individuals and families in need, supporting St. Luke’s efforts to meet the practical needs of the Lansing community. This ongoing partnership allows us to serve alongside St. Luke’s and demonstrate God’s love through action.

How You Can Serve:

Support St. Luke’s by volunteering on a regular basis at the community kitchen throughout the year. We organize groups of volunteers to serve meals on weekends, and if you’d like to lead your own group on a specific weekend each month, we welcome that too. While the biggest needs are in the summer, any time you can give is valuable in helping us serve the community. Join us in making a difference today!
