This June, a team from Riv will be traveling to Mazatlan, Mexico to support the local Back2Back mission located there. Mazatlan is located on the Pacific shoreline of Mexico, and while it is a tourist hotspot, many of the people who call Mazatlan home live on less than $5 a day.

Against that backdrop, Back2Back serves local children’s homes, owns and operates a local school for children with special needs, and runs a Center for Holistic Child Development that focuses on therapy and healing for children and young adults from traumatic backgrounds and those with special needs.

In past trips, we’ve served the local missions through facility improvement projects, preparing meals and supporting Back2Back staff, and interacting with kids. Because this is a mission trip, we’ll work with you on support raising – whether you’re raising funds to go on the trip or prayer to support you and the team.
