Entitled Hearts

We have grown into a culture that believes everything we own is rightly deserved. Is this truly the case? Perhaps we should consider how a consumer mentality has driven us to believe that we are the giver of gifts to ourselves. Scripture tells us otherwise. It tells us that God is the sole provider of all the blessings and joys we experience on earth. As the receiver of these gifts, we are to have a thankful posture to Him. Especially when it comes to the free gift of salvation through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ.
