Faith as a Gift From God

In the book of Hebrews, it defines faith as being sure of what we hope for and certain of the things we do not see. Now there are many times when we lose sight of having faith in God when the going gets rough, but the promise of the Gospel is this: the faith in Jesus that we have is not on our own doing, but rather it is truly a gift from God. So whenever we do need to have faith in God, we can now rest assure that it will never fade away because it does not come from within our own strength, but it derives from God Himself.
