Jesus is Our Example

What is Biblical friendship? It’s more than just being Facebook friends, or hanging out with people you kind of know. Biblical friends are the people that you can count on in the tough times, the ones who call you out when you’re going down the wrong path. God uses these friendships to help us experience who God is and how to display His love and character to others.

Jesus is the true definition of friendship. He sacrificed everything for us and He wants us to follow His example. We should love other people the way Jesus loves us. We need to be faithful, trustworthy, and sacrificial friends. This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. – John 15:12-13
