Life Bringing Words

Words can be tricky. Sometimes we say things we don’t mean. Sometimes we say things we do mean, with the intent to hurt someone or lift someone up. How do we, as followers of Christ, navigate the words we use in our everyday lives? A lot of the times, the things we take in from our surroundings – the things we hear and see – is what we end up spitting back out. If that’s the case, if we immerse ourselves in the Word of God and let that be the navigator of our words, then we will probably speak thoughtful and life bringing words that ultimately point people to Jesus.
