Pursue Missional Outreach

Do you seek out opportunities to get to know others with different cultures and traditions, or do you tend to surround yourself with people who look and sound like you? Young Yi, Riv’s MSU Venue Director, encourages us to lean into spaces where we have the opportunity to know and love people who are not like us, even if that means we may have to relinquish some of our comfort and our freedoms. As followers of Christ we are called to intellectually and culturally know our brothers and sisters, and to love them by bearing their burdens.

To the weak I became weak, in order to win the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that I may by every possible means save some.
