Remember God’s Faithfulness
One of the most powerful things we can do in the present is look back and remember how God has been faithful to His people in the past. Pastor Tony Pyle challenges us to spend some time listing specific ways we’ve seen God’s faithfulness to remind ourselves how God will continue to keep His promises. When we look back and share our stories of how God has demonstrated His love, we can be mutually encouraged by one another’s faith and how God moved to remind us of His power and presence.
While the Israelites camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, they observed the Passover on the evening of the fourteenth day of the month. The day after Passover they ate unleavened bread and roasted grain from the produce of the land. And the day after they ate from the produce of the land, the manna ceased. Since there was no more manna for the Israelites, they ate from the crops of the land of Canaan that year.
