Wisdom Slows Down Anger
Try to look back at a moment in time where your anger got the best of you, but over something small and petty. Everyone has moments like that – where in the heat of the moment, we think our anger is just. Perhaps it was or perhaps it wasn’t. The question we should be asking though is, “was I angry at sin or was it something not really sinful?” God tells us to be slow to anger and when we can be slow to anger about these small things, we can focus on the larger issues of sin in our lives and in the world. The great thing about this is that when we get angry about the great injustices and sin in the world, we can use that as an opportunity to share about Jesus Christ.
This is a highlight video from the message About Anger from Riv’s Wise Words series. You can view the entire message here.
