God Is With Us

12.24.21 | Christmas Eve 2021

God Is With Us

Tony Pyle

Matthew 1:23; John 14:16–17; Mark 13:32–37; John 9:5

Pastor Tony Pyle reminds us that through His sacrifice on the cross, Jesus has removed all the barriers of our sin so that we could be together now and through eternity. Just like Jesus, we are sent to share the good news that “God is with us” and to invite people into our church family.

See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel, which is translated “God is with us.”

Matthew 1:23

Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign: See, the virgin will conceive, have a son, and name him Immanuel.

Isaiah 7:14

She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

Matthew 1:21

Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

Colossians 1:15

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need.

Hebrews 4:15-16

For while we were still helpless, at the right time, Christ died for the ungodly. For rarely will someone die for a just person — though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:6-8

Remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Matthew 28:20
