Unshakeable

Tyler St. Clair

1 Corinthians 15:58

Living in America, the religious climate seems to say that it is harder and harder to proclaim your Christian faith in the public square. How can we be confident in our faith in Christ Jesus as society seems to tread farther and farther away from core Christian doctrine? Pastor Tyler St. Clair shares and encourages that we can be unshakeable in our faith in Christ because of four reasons: we have a message, we have evidence, we have a
hope, and we have the victory in Christ Jesus.

We can be unshakeable, stand firm and produce fruit for Christ for four reasons; we have a message, we have evidence, we have a hope, and we have the victory.

We have a message.

Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

We have evidence.

that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive,

though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.

1 Corinthians 15:5-7

We have a hope.

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.

1 Corinthians 15:17

But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.

1 Corinthians 15:20

We have victory.

“O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:55-56
