God Is Not Deceived

One of the most dangerous things we can do is tell ourselves this lie that we are “okay” while we sit in a pile of our sin. Because of our sin nature, we sometimes trick ourselves into thinking that what actually is sin, is good. We become the biggest liars and deceivers in our lives. However, God sees through our own deception and provides us a way out – through His Son, Jesus Christ. With faith in Him and what He did on the cross, Jesus takes out our deceptive hearts and places inside our chest, a heart that is self-aware and repentant of our sin. We no longer have to trick ourselves into thinking our lifestyle is okay (when it really is sinful) because Christ took it to the cross and gives us strength to repent and overcome.
