The Hurting, The Marginalized, and The Church

In every time period, there is always a group of people who will identify as being in need, in trouble, marginalized, and overlooked. Who is to care for them? Who is to feed them? Provide education and equip them so they may have a sustainable and flourishing life? When we look at the Scriptures, God commands and beckons His people to be the ones to come to their aid. The church has a Biblical responsibility to act as God’s hands and feet and show His love with not just words, but actions as well. With our actions, we are not only able to satisfy physical needs, but also point to Jesus Christ who is the only to satisfy all Spiritual needs.
