Leaning On The Truth

Sometimes the truth hurts. Most of us have been there before, where we hear something we know is right, but gives a kind of sting deep inside our heart. The Gospel of Jesus Christ naturally does that to those who hear it because it exposes the gap between God and mankind due to mankind’s sin. But the Good News is that the Gospel does not just leave us there, but offers us a message of hope that Jesus Christ closes that gap for us. However, for those who believe in this, Christ warns that the world will hate us for our belief. Nevertheless, in the midst of this opposition, we can find comfort in the bearer of this message, Christ Jesus.
