Suffering for the Gospel

The Gospel of Mark is a challenge to our culture, but it does so using a narrative form our culture gets. We’re presented with a chaotic string of stories, some of which feel incomplete, but all of which point to the complete nature of Christ.

In this book, Jesus tells parables and is Himself a parable, confusing and inspiring all who hear His words. We get a clear picture of who Jesus is and see His authority as He both demands much of those who follow Him and forgives much of those who fall short.
